2009 was called “the ideal time” for purchasing a home in Australia. According the words of the Director of the big mortgage company Loan Market Group John Collend, a proof for that are the decreased credit rates and decreasing prices of real estates in the country, and also the governmental program to help the local purchasers to gain their first home. The expert reminds us on the fact, that since September 2008 the Reserve Bank has decreased the basic percentage to 3 points to the 7 years long minimum in the amount of 4.25%. In October the Australian Federal Government has doubled the granted sum for the purchasers of first home to 14 000 AUD (7200 EUR). The Australian real estate market Association (HIA) prognosticates, that the recovery of the local real estate market will begin in the second half year of 2009.
